Course Objective:
The objective of this course is to help Ph.D. students: (1) prepare for the comprehensive exam in strategic management; and (2) conduct research on strategic management topics. The course is broken down into four sections:
Part I.: Background
Part II: Traditional Views of Strategy
Part III: The Future Part
IV: Selected Topics.

| Papers: 40% | A comprehensive research proposal or research project is required. An in class presentation will be made (last class). Papers are due on final exam day. I will not accept any late papers. |
Class Preparation and Assignments:
Students are expected to do all the reading assignments for each class and to lead and participate in the class discussion of these readings. In completing the reading assignments, students should consider the assigned exam questions that pertain to the specific readings that Class.
