Gilvan "Gil" C. Souza's Research

My research interests are in supply chain and technology management, primarily the design and operation of closed-loop supply chains (CLSCs).  CLSCs are supply chains where there are flows of products or components from consumers back to manufacturers.  One example is a supply chain with consumer returns (products returned within 30-90 days of the purchase).  I have also pursued a long time interest in new product introduction issues.
