Dingman Center – an Engine for Growth and Economic Prosperity

Come to the BB&T Business Invitational from 2 -3 p.m. on April 17 to meet an exciting cross-section of the up-and-coming firms that have been incubated and started by the Dingman Center, and supported by the center’s Capital Access Network. Held in advance of the Cupid’s Cup Business Competition in Van Munching Hall’s Pownall Atrium, the exhibition will offer the opportunity to experience first-hand the impact the Dingman Center is having on economic development and prosperity in the Washington, D.C.-Baltimore region.

Attendees will have the opportunity to vote for the best student and the best non-student company for awards of $2,000 each, while a BB&T “marketplace” will showcase a variety of high quality goods from University of Maryland student entrepreneurs available for purchase.
