The Smith School Office of Career Management is proud to provide world-class, end-to-end service by leveraging outstanding and experienced staff, in combination with unique partnerships in key business areas. On-site and virtually, our seasoned career coaches and industry-specialized job search and employer development professionals enable our graduate, undergraduate and alumni populations to maximize their career potential.

The OCM proudly adopted an in-house career coaching and job search model across the full-time graduate and undergraduate student populations.  Career coaches and student coachees are directly aligned with OCM employer development managers who have built employer relationships in the applicable functional areas. This focused alignment of student career goals and functional employer expertise offers the best possible situation for both students and employers. Students are put in direct contact with the companies that interest them, and employers gain direct access to the best and brightest students focused in their targeted functional areas.

The OCM has successfully partnered with McCandlish Holton, PC, a leading U.S. immigration law firm. This partnership is designed to address and overcome the obstacles that often prevent employers from hiring the best and brightest students. In keeping with the Office of Career Management’s dedication to employer-focused customer service, the innovative program makes it easier for employers to recruit and hire foreign graduates.
